Induction Session - Group Swim
For First Time Swimmers to the Nutty Mermaids.
Service Description
This session is for EVERYONE that hasn't been to Larkwood lakes before, regardless of swimming ability. It includes an introduction to the lake, as well as a safety talk and one of us will also go in with you for the first lap to assess your swimming, where we can give you some tips if needs be. You will also receive a nutty mermaids hat to swim in. No open water experience necessary, but don't forget to bring some goggles if you want to put your face in and a tow float if you want an extra bit of buoyancy and security the water is very deep and you wont be able to put your feet down.. Wetsuits are strongly recommended in temperatures of 18 degrees and below. PLEASE ARRIVE JUST BEFORE 9 AM, AND BE READY TO SWIM. WE HAVE THE CASUAL SWIM THAT GOES IN AT 9.30AM AND WE NEED TO BE OUT OF THE WATER AND READY TO LIFEGUARD BY THEN. IF YOU ARE LATE WE MAY NOT HAVE TIME TO GO IN WITH YOU FOR THE FIRST LAP.
